Happy Again

Yes, the beautiful thing about life being a wheel is that what goes down eventually goes up. Last Saturday, Mike got my mood up by taking me all the way to Alabang to have crepe, coffee and ice cream float. It was nice because it was different.

The drive was something nice. We talked a lot and I spent half the time trying to make sure he doesn't fall asleep. Thank God for those annoying things they put in South Super to prevent people from falling asleep. Then we walked around before going to Cafe Breton. It was a good thing the air was cool. The best part of the evening though is something we usually do, which is to talk about nothing and everything at the same time.

Thanks Mike for making me happy again! Actually, thanks for always making me happy! :D

Sucky Entry

It's funny how our mood can change in a matter of minutes. It's really true when people say that life is like a wheel, sometimes you're up, sometimes you're down.

There are times when you wish you had/have things in life that you don't, but at the same time you're thankful of the things you do have. Still, there's this little part of you that really badly wishes you can have what you don't have because it will make you happier and affect those around you in a good way. Sometimes, you wish they could have something so they'll stop being sad and making you feel their sadness. I'm not making sense. Anyway, for those who know me quite well, I am very attuned to other people's feelings, so when people are sad, it makes me sad even if I'm a generally happy person.

There are so many things I wanna do but I can't or I feel guilty about doing it because there are other more important things that need to be done. I sometimes feel like I'm much older than I should be. I can't really even enjoy my last year of college. I wanna go out, watch a movie, drink as much coffee and eat as much as I want. I wanna go on a road trip or do something different for a change, but unfortunately, there are more important things that need to be done and these things should probably be last on my list.

Okay, this is a sucky entry. All it does is allow me to vent and somehow feel a bit better, but not really.

When you wish upon a star...

Have you heard the song When You Wish Upon A Star from Pinnochio?

When You Wish Upon A Star
Music by Leigh Harline / Lyrics by Ned Washington
Performed by Jiminy Cricket (Cliff Edwards)

When you wish upon a star
Makes no difference who you are
Anything your heart desires
Will come to you

If your heart is in your dream
No request is too extreme
When you wish upon a star
As dreamers do

Fate is kind
She brings to those who love
The sweet fulfillment of
Their secret longing
Like a bolt out of the blue
Fate steps in and sees you through
When you wish upon a star
Your dreams come true
.
Well, this song pretty much described my weekend. Last Friday, Kuya Wap ad I had a study date i Starbucks but before that, I accompanied him to his school to get his readings. Then he treated me to FIC. Awww sweet. Then he had dinner in the house and we caught up on old times.
.
Yesterday naman, I woke up early to do some Christmas shopping and I got everyone done except for my immediate family, the BAKErs and Mike. That's good considering it's only November. Then, at night, Mike and I went to Tammy's party. Grabe Kuya Wap, you're so different outside family gatherings. There were few highlights to that evening, one being lstening to the different conversations. The second one was that Mike didn't smoke even though Kuya Wap was saying okay lang yan because number one says so. I really appreciated that. The third one was thanks to my heels that kept getting stuck on cracks on the floor. Even though it was quite annoying to the point that I had to watch every step I took, it was alright because Mike never let go of my hand. :"D
Lastly, Mike and I saw a shooting star and we made a wish. I found it nice cause it was his first time to see one and there was one time when we saw fireflies and it was also his first time. I just found it significant because he saw them while he was with me. It's a simple wonder but full of promise. There are just some times when the world is a more beautiful place.
.
Today naman, I had my pig out lunch in Butterfly with Ate C, Mama Vick and Tita Nana. We had bagnet and talangka. Hay kababuyan!!! Ang SARAP!!!

The Last First Day of School

I can't believe it. Tomorrow is my last first day of school. My schedule sucks but at the same time, I'm so happy that I have no class on Wednesdays and Fridays. On the bright side, I have 14 weeks to go (according to Anix), and that just means I have to toil a bit more then it'll all be over. Right now, I am enjoying my last day of sem break by magic singing with my sisters. Hahaha. So far, my highest score is a 98 in My Heart Will Go On. Naks, ang baduy! In fairness, my sisters said my voice is pulido so ok lang na baduy. Hahaha.

Bangkok

I've been gone for a week because I went to Bangkok. What's new, well, not much except for the higher value of the baht. Shopping, traffic and food were still the same, but the trip was so much fun. Truth be told, I'm kinda lazy to post pictures so if you wanna hear about the Loi Krathong festival, just click on the link to the Sunday Club Chronicles and check my multiply account. If you're my friend, you'll most probably be a contact there too :D Hehehe. Tamad no. Well, that explains how I gained 6 pounds in the trip. Hay. Look nalang at the multiply pics. They'll pretty much tell the story.
