Seeing Double?

Last week or was it last last week, Ate Caren won Lomo home of the day. So, she got her new colar splash flash. She decided to experiment with it and came up with a very cool shot of me and...me again. hehehe. By the way, this picture was not edited whatsoever in photoshop. This is how it really looks from the negative to the developing.

Barefoot

You know how it is when you're barefoot, you can step on the sand and It'll naturally exfoliate your feet? It starts of nice, then it hurts, but then your feet come out all nice and smooth. It's kind of like school. It starts out nice, then it starts to hurt, but you come out smarter than you were before.

You know how it is when you're barefoot, you can sometimes step on some things that can give you splinters? They hurt at first, a whole lot, then you have to strain your eyes to remove it, but when they're pulled out, you just feel so much better. It's kind of like doing so much for school-projects, tests and homework. You're so full of it, you think you can't take it anymore, but still you continue to strain your eyes in front of the computer, reading, and not sleeping, but when you're done, you just feel so much better than before. You feel like "nabunutan ka ng tinik."

You know how it is when you're barefoot, your feet are more sensitive and vulnerable to people stepping on them? They hurt a lot, but thank God for shoes, they protect your feet. It's kind of like being with some people. You try to show them a little part of you (that's why it's bare), but they step on you. Or they pretend to be those pretty shoes that make your feet hurt inside. Again, thank God for the people who will always love you, even when you're vulnerable and barefoot: God, your family and your TRUE friends. Most of the time, they are your trusty old shoes that make your feet comfy inside.

You know how it is when you're barefoot, it just means you're at home or relaxed? Well, that's just how life should be: at home and relaxed, but smarter, more accomplished and all good inside. :D

The BAKErs Night Out

Today was another busy day. Although I didn't have class yesterday and today, I was pretty busy with all the school work that had to be done. I'm proud to say that I have finished my Physiology project and the outline for our Theology presentation. Anyway, yesterday, I was sitting my butt in front of the computer for 13 hours, breaking for meals and bathroom rituals. Today, I was sitting in front of the computer for 6 hours when Ericka texted me to stop studying/working and just have some fun.

Ericka, Kia and Anix picked me up and we went to Podium. Dinner was in NYPD, which was followed by Starbucks. Thanks to that 7 day diet which seems to be working, i had no pizza and (sob sob) a short DECAF LATTE with EQUAL :(( Well, so far, it's worth it naman.

Anyway, we had really fun conversations then we went to the AIESEC party in Racks for abolishing poverty. We stayed for a while, enough to catch Soapdish. Their songs are nice. We went home early, smelled like smoke, but very happy. Thanks guys. I needed this.

A Thousand Things

I have a thousand and one things to do. Hahaha. Well, lucky for me, I'm getting another four day weekend to narrow them down to a hundred. Sometimes, I feel bad that I'm not performing as good as I should be or want to. Maybe I just need to sleep. Yeah, sleep will be good. Maybe come sembreak, I'll have more time to blog.
