Midori no Kaze, Green Wind.
The wind is free and fast. It knows no limits, it knows no bounds. It has journeyed far and wide, and forever will it move. It is fierce, it is calm... it is everlasting.
Listen to the wind and whisper your song. Call out to it, and it will come and free you.
The heat is amazing. The last time I blogged was ages ago that so much has already happened in between. There was fun fun Baguio where I ate so much and gained back the weight I lost in Sagada. I had a total of 7 scoops of ice cream during our entire stay. Of course, there was junk food and coffee pa. From the beginning, fun na cause Ate C drove all the way!!! Yes, I didn't get hilo! When we got there pa, the driveway was being paved. For all my friends who went up to Baguio during evsem, yes, the driveway is fixed. What else? Well, we now have lots of flowers. Pretty pretty flowers, but if you were there when we got there, it was chaos. The tar they were gonna use to fix the driveway overflowed and there was a huge fire in our upper garden. As in, 2 firetrucks, ABS-CBN and guards of the president went to check it out.
The best part though of the trip was Macie. She's socute. It's so nice how when you wake up in the morning, she's the first person you see eating her breakfast and watching Barney or Maisy Mouse. Grabe, she was the apple of everybody's eye. She was always smiling and calling everyone by their first names. Hahaha. Walang galang, pero sobrang cute. She's so naughty pa and so content with what she has. Her titas and parents were the competetive ones who wanted her to win all the prizes during the Easter Egg Hunt. Well, you couldn't blame us, it was unfair. Anyway, as much as I would love to make kwento and all that, Ate C, I hope you don't mind if I post all my favorite pictures of the trip in my multiply.
Lately, I've been so tired and yet so fulfilled with what I've been doing...yup, teaching kids...ages 1.6-2.3 years old. Hahahah!!! It's been heaven and hell, but more of heaven. I've had to deal with much crying, meaning tears and snot on my shirt, and yes, even getting puked on by my very cute niece :D hahaha. I've learned how to carry one kid on one arm and another on my other, and I firmly believe that I am developing muscles. Hahaha. I have never sweat so much in an airconditioned room and right now, my body hurts. On the upside, I have never received so many hugs and smiles in one day. I seriously think the little boys like me. Hahaha. They stick to me like glue especially when they're crying. For some reason, they just stop when I carry them, then they don't wanna let go till it's time to go home.
The obviously favorite student is Macie :D hehehe. You can't help favoritism. She's so cute. She's so well adjusted. She pats her crying classmates and smiles at everyone. She's the first to do whatever the teacher says (it's almost nerdy) and she's so active. I always hear very good Macie, and of course, I'm such a proud tita. It's funny though that teachers know her as the best dressed kid. Hahaha. Porma kasi. She's just too cute! Cute Cute Cute!!! When she prays, she closes her eyes. Hahaha. Even I couldn't help saying "awww" to my own niece.
Well, I told you it's heaven and hell. It's hell cause after class, my co-teachers and I end up staring off into space after class and I end up sleeping in the afternoon, but it's heaven cause the kids hug you a lot :D Plus, it's really nice to hear parents say, "hindi yan gagalaw. Kailangan si teacher Bambie." WOW!!! That's a great feeling!!!
