Things I Learned By Teaching

These are things we're probably all guilty of once in a while, and sometimes, it's nice to be aware of the things we need to relearn. We've all been students, but sometimes, we need to see things from the teacher's point of view.

1. It's impolite to turn your back on someone when they're talking, whether you're mad or not. Respect is something basic.

2. There's no point in sulking. All you're doing is making yourself feel bad and missing out on all the fun.

3. Crying WILL NOT get you everything! Tears are there to show people you've been hurt.

4. Clean up! Everybody do your share! Don't let other people do it for you or you'll never learn.

5. USE the MAGIC WORDS: Please and Thank You! This will go a long way.

6. SHARE!!! NO GRABBING!!! NO PUSHING!!! TAKE TURNS!!! 'nough said.

7. Listen! It's really rude to have people repeat what they just said because you weren't listening.

8. Indoor games, voices and feet are for indoors and Outdoor games, voices and feet are for outdoors. Be mindful of your actions, they could be bothersome and even hurtful.

9. There are appropriate times for everything. Do whatever you have to on those times. It makes you value time more.

10. Whatever you do doesn't only affect you, but affects everybody. Be mindful of your actions. You'll never know if the fate of a class activity rests in your hands.
