Cute and Weird
Thanks to my practicum, I've been spending a whole lot more time with Macie. Just last Thursday and today, I was at her house painting a mural of the Cat in the Hat in Macie's playroom. She's so cute talaga. She really stalls so I don't leave the house, but the best part really is her new found expression courtesy of Kuya.One morning, Macie and I were playing in her room. She's walking with this book of hers then drops it. All of a sudden, she goes, "oh shit" loud and clear. I couldn't help but laugh, but of course, you can't show her you think it's funny so I ended up covering my face. Galeng ni Ate Char, "No Macie." That evening, she dropped something again, then she goes, "Oh..." Buti nalang hindi tinuloy.
On to weirder things, last night, I dreamt of mommy which should be a good thing. What made it weird was that she said that she was coming to get me (on St. Peter's orders). Then I told her, but only God or Jesus could do that. And she said she didn't know. So I said, "Mommy, I do want to go with you, but if this is what I think it is, then I don't want to go with you." Then she said, "I don't want to take you either because you're only starting to live now." I must have looked really puzzled so she said, "Now that you're teaching (she didn't used to want me to be a teacher) and there's Mike, life is just starting for you." So I asked her what we were gonna do now. Then she said she'd go back without me. So I said, "Won't they get mad at you?" But because she's my mom, she said, "Bahala sila. basta I'm not taking you." Then I woke up thanks to the blinking lights of my phone.
